A multipurpose fertiliser spreader and chaser bin has won the 2019 Henty Machine of the Year.
The Coolamon Spreader Chaser, by Coolamon Chaser Bins, is a "cost-saving" machine for farmers with judges impressed by its innovation, engineering and design.
The spreader chaser features a self-cleaning hopper and is equipped with Haze Ag polyurethane spinner blades with bevel edged spinner discs.
Thirteen machines, from across the country, were showcased in the competition with judges presenting a highly commended to the Offsider Ag Equipment Spin-a-Calf, entered by David Hicks from Queensland.
Judge Warren Scheetz said the spreader chaser was about "utilising two bins in one".
"They have always had quality chaser bins, now they have incorporated a precision spreader on the back," he said.
"You are sort of utilising the machine for harvest as well. Combining the two machines are definitely cost saving for farmers."
