Small and inconsistent conditions have prompted World Surf League organisers to put the Tahiti Pro on hold for the next two days.

WSL competition director Renato Hickel said on Sunday the surf at the famous Teahupo'o break was only two to three feet, and smaller than they expected.
"This is also a dying swell, which is why we are calling the event off tomorrow as well," he said in a WSL statement.
"We'll continue to review the forecasts, but we're currently targeting Tuesday, with a new medium-size swell arriving in Tahiti."
The competition will resume with the men's elimination round and the women's quarter-finals.
When the event started on Saturday, Australian defending world champion Stephanie Gilmore lost her round-one heat.
On a dramatic day, Gilmore then won her elimination heat to stay alive in the event and her world title defence.
Tyler Wright is the other Australian left in the women's field with Ryan Callinan, Connor O'Leary and Liam O'Brien in the men's elimination round.
The Tahiti Pro is also the test event for next year's Paris Olympics. On Saturday, Wright joined Hawaiians Carissa Moore and John John Florence as provisional qualifiers for the Games by winning their round-one heats.
