A man has been charged after police allegedly found a number of unregistered guns and ammunition on his property at The Rock.

Officers from the Riverina Police District seized multiple unregistered firearms, ammunition and a firearm believed to be stolen from a Wagga property in 2012 during a Firearms Prohibition Order search on Monday about 9am.
A 47-year-old man was arrested at The Rock home and taken to Wagga Police Station where he was charged with 23 offences relating to the possession and safe storage of unregistered firearms and ammunition.
The man was granted conditional bail and is due to face Wagga Local Court on April 8, 2020.
Police are continuing their inquiries into the incident, and anyone with information is urged to contact Wagga Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
