THE 116th Henty Show proved to be a popular event on Saturday with around 1000 people attending. In the lead up to Sydney Royal Easter Show Henty played an important role for people looking to qualify in events including cattle parading, junior judging for fleece beef and grain competitions. The horse section was also well supported and a dog show proved to be a popular draw card too. After a couple of years of experiencing hot weather show organisers welcomed milder conditions on Saturday. The cattle events and junior judging were well supported by a team of students from the Yanco Agricultural High School.
