After winning the toss, the Pigeons posted 156 with Brad IAnson (40) and Bryce Swift (30 no) the best with the willow.
The Brookers' bowling attack performed well with Lewis Bowen (3/16), Corey McCarthy (3/23) and Jamie McCarthy (2/21) the best performed.
In reply, Holbrook started poorly and never recovered from 6/65. Daniel McCarthy and brother Jamie both made 34. Clint Ralston and Blake Lieschke took three wickets each for the Pigeons.
Last year's runner-up Walbundrie has made it two wins to start the season after beating Brock-Burrum by seven wickets at Brocklesby.
The home side struggled with the bat, all out 126. Josh Koschitzke (41) and Jordan Schilg (21) played lone hands. Jake Thomas took 3/22 for the Tigers.
Walbundrie, led by Alex McMaster (60 no) and Luke Fox (29) achieved the target with 11 overs to spare. Koschitzke took two wickets for the Saints.
Henty has also made a great start to the season with a commanding win over TRYC. The Swampies coasted to a five-wicket win at Yerong Creek.
Aiden Ridley (40) and Todd Hannam (23) top scored as TRYC made 102. Daniel Terlich (3/16 off eight) and Shannon Terlich (just 12 runs off eight overs) bowled superbly.
The run chase was smooth sailing as Grant Gardiner (40 no) and youngster Tom Newton (20) did it easily. Jadyn Hibberson took 3/22 for the home side.
Osborne made it back to back wins with a hard-fought victory at Walla, winning with just eight balls remaining.
After being 1/123, Walla finished poorly to finish on 8/155 with Joel Merkel (58) and Chris Hutchison (44) part of a top-order collapse that lost 4/2.
AFL stars Harry Perryman (3/24) and Dougal Howard (2/25) impressed in their cameo appearances. In reply, Osborne was made to work hard, losing five wickets.
Perryman guided them home with an unbeaten 49 while brother Joe (40) and Sam McCready (32) played vital roles. Tom Simmons bowled superbly for Walla, taking 2/15 off eight overs.
Culcairn bounced back in excellent style after its round 1 defeat to beat Lockhart by 24 runs.
A much-improved batting performance led to a score of 162, with Mitch Godde (44), Vincent Chaffey (24) and Norman Barlow (23) the best. Sam Johnson and Jordan Renner took three wickets for Lockhart. Zac Burkinshaw (43), Brad McMillian (23) and Johnson (20) led the chase that fell short.
Brett Starick was sensational for Culcairn, taking 6/27 after the locals were in command at 1/70.
Barlow added good support with 2/28.
