Culcairn
Drive past the stationmaster’s house built in 1881. The house has been occupied by 19 different families over 100 years and is now the Culcairn Stationmaster’s Residence Museum.
Gerogery
The second stationmaster’s house, built when the rail ran between Culcairn and Holbrook, is now privately owned. Stop by for an ice cream at the Gerogery Supply Store.
Walla Walla
Drive along the main street past the Lutheran pioneer wagon replica and the spectacular Zion Lutheran Church, the largest in NSW.
Burrumbuttock
At Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre, it’s time to stretch the legs and discover the beauty of the Australian bush. This community project is also an environmental learning centre for children.

Brocklesby
This is the site of the little-known double plane landing. In 1940 two planes tangled in the air, piggy back-style. Three crew bailed and the fourth landed the two planes safely in a paddock not far away.
Walbundrie
Visit the old school house. The school doctor performed tonsillectomies here and recovery was done in the wood shed.
Morgan’s Lookout
Between Walbundrie to Culcairn, take the Lookout Road and drive up to Morgan’s Lookout. The views are quite spectacular even from the parking area. Total travel time is just over two hours.
