Holbrook were chasing the Tigers’ score of 9-133 and looked to be in good shape requiring seven off the last two overs.
However, a sensational double wicket maiden from Roy Elliot put the Tigers back in the game. Some sensible batting from Ewan Mackinlay and Copper Walsh got the Brookers home.
Mackinlay, 15, smashed a boundary to the midwicket boundary with just two balls to spares as Holbrook finished 8-136.
Jarrod Miller was the star for Walbundrie with the bat making an unbeaten 56 to support the good work of fellow Tumbarumba recruit Nathan Morton, (36).
Left arm spinner William Heriot bowled superbly to take 2-10 off eight overs, while Hamish Mackinlay claimed 3-26.
Holbrook’s innings had six players reach double figures with the best coming from Lewis Bowen (32), Hamish Mackinlay (22), while Andrew Mackinlay (18) and Heriot (17) chipped in.
Morton completed a wonderful game to take 1-14 off eight overs and Alex McMaster was also economical with 1-16. Elliot was the star though with four wickets.
The win has kept Holbrook a game clear on top of the ladder with Rand one win behind and a real bottle neck behind them.

OSBORNE inflicted Culcairn’s third straight loss with an impressive run chase to win by eight wickets with nine overs to spare.
Steve Brand top scored for Culcairn with 60 as the Lions posted 6-143. Vince Chaffey was next best with 18.
Daniel Kennedy was best of the bowlers taking 1-14 in eight overs. Billy Glanville took 2-32 as the Osborne fielders supported its bowlers superbly.
The Osborne reply was led by representative players Luke Richardson (78 no) and Nick Perryman (48 no) in an unbeaten stand of 114.
Dai Jenkins with 0-10 off six was the pick of the Lions’ bowlers. Mitch Godde 1-26 was the only bowler to take a wicket.

RAND and Henty played out a high scoring match at Henty with the visitors Rand prevailing by eighteen runs and moving into second position.
Henty won the toss and sent Rand in and they responded by posting 7/190, with Daniel Lieschke (73), Bryce Swift (28 no) and Will Swift (25) leading the way.
Paddy Murray and Braiden Pantling were the best of the Swampies attack with two wickets each. Two run outs also highlighted the Swampies fielding.
Again it was Pantling (54) and Murray (32) who contributed with the bat, along with the inform Greg Schuller (40) as they were bowled out in the last over for 172.

WALLA broke its sequence of back to back tied results by easily accounting for Burrumbuttock at Burrumbuttock winning by seven wickets.
The game was all over before 4pm as Walla chased down the Swans 83 in the twelfth over with Tom Simmons (37) and Chris Hutchison (32) making the runs.

TRYC broke through for its first win of the season defeating Lockhart by 51 runs with skipper Todd Hannam again being dismissed in the nineties.
Hannam who last week made 94 was this week cruelly denied a century falling to Jim Mitchell for a brilliant 98 as TRYC posted 5-227.
Oscar Willis also did well with 58 as all Lockhart bowlers apart from Clint Renner were treated harshly on a lightning quick out field at Yerong Creek.
Lockhart gave plenty of cheek in the reply with Renner (60) and Mitchell (43) threatening with a 77-run stand.
They fell away quickly after both were dismissed as Ryan Kirkwood 3-36 and Aiden Ridley 4-37 doing all the damage.
