Diversity was the best way to sum up the 2018 Henty Machinery Field Days. With so much to see and plenty of walking some people planned to spend three days at the event.

In fact, organisers said the event was the biggest in terms of exhibits. And in a bid to see it all, it was anticipated that some 60,000 people would attend the event over the three days.
There was a lot of talk about drought and how the region needed some rain to help winter crops, however there was also discussion around the high livestock prices.
The livestock prices helped to inject some enthusiasm for stock handling products such as fencing materials and yards, crushes and weighing equipment.
Meanwhile, entertainment was high on the list. Patrons watched the talented three-sheep trials kelpies and collies and there was some good runs put together in the three-sheep trial.
