Well, according to In the Clear NRL Podcast co-host Chris Boulous, John Sutton is the best player to never have played for NSW.
In the lead up to his 300th game, Boulous said Sutton is playing better now than ever.
“If he was playing like this five years ago he would have played 10 Origins. Hands down he is the best player to never pull on the sky blue,” Boulous said.
“He has been a great player for an extended period of time.”
Co-host and Souths tragic Matt Lawrence said Sutton has been a great clubman.
“To be the first player for Souths to play 300 games is a massive achievement,” he said.
Also on this week’s show the boys discuss the top eight and the prospects of the Wests Tigers making a run to the playoffs.
“I think Benji and Robbie can help them make a run,” Boulous said.
