The forward found himself at Brisbane via Queensland club Redcliffe following his NRL exile as the fallout of his much-publicised New York rampage in 2015 continued.
Lodge has since settled with the victims of that incident, paving the way for a new NRL contract beyond this season.
He insists his management team is handling the paperwork, but knows there is plenty of reasons to remain at Red Hill.
"Yeah it's awesome ... I haven't looked to go anywhere or do anything," he said in his first regular mid-week press conference on Tuesday.
"Just return the favour; they gave me an opportunity and hopefully I'm playing well and paying it back.
"I'll just leave it up to my manager, but hopefully something gets sorted out soon.
"We've got a good work ethic here - a lot of us are younger and we are just trying to get better - everyone is on the same page."
The 23-year-old, who 12 games into his NRL career was sacked by the Wests Tigers following his New York arrest, admitted he was still adjusting to the rigours of the top league.
"I'm not on top of it; I've still got a lot of stuff to work on," he said.
"I was out for a long time and there are a lot of things in my game that need improving."
The Broncos had won seven of their last nine before Sunday's 26-6 loss to the New Zealand Warriors.
It pushed them back to eighth ahead of Friday night's clash with fifth-placed Penrith, where Lodge played one NYC season in 2012.
