The scene is pretty dramatic at the moment and with the onset of winter the timing couldn’t bet better to prepare these popular venues for summer.
Earlier this year it was announced that funding to the tune of $1.5 million, from the state government, would be used to refurbish both pools. It is anticipated that the planned work will be complete during the winter months allowing for these venues to be up and thriving again in summer.

LOOKING through old photos is a favourite past time for many. Each week the Eastern Riverina Chronicle publishes an online looking back or throwback album. These albums attract a lot of interest. There has also been groups posting some excellent photos online too. If you are enjoying the old photos have a look at The Rock Hall and Museum Facbook page. The page has some photos of everything from the King’s Own Hotel through to sporting groups and people who have called this region home.
