Unfortunately for Lockhart is wasn’t a good day for us with Ganmain defeating us.
Final scores were Lockhart 63 Ganmain 72 for a 1-9 defeat. Craig Lenon lost 14-35, Jason Healy won 24-7 and Bruce Rayner lost 25-30.
Next weekend we are at home for the last round of pennants versus Rules (2).
After round nine the Grade 6 Pennant ladder stands as follows: 1st Yerong Creek 74, 2nd Rules (1) 67.5 and 3rd Lockhart 48.
The District Pennant finals will be played on Sunday, April 29. Unfortunately, Lockhart will not be participating this year, maybe next year.
On Sunday the semi-final of the major pairs was played with the team of Max Montgomery and Barry Love defeating Craig and Shane Lenon.
Also on Sunday the last semi-final of the major singles was played with Shane Lenon defeating Jason Healy.
The final of the major singles will be played on Sunday, May 6 between Shane Lenon and Bruce Rayner.
The final of the major pairs will be played on Sunday, April 29 between Max Montgomery and Barry Love versus Jesse Shilo and Steve Johnstone. Both matches start around 1pm.
Jackpot Bowls continues next Sunday. Names in by 10am for a 10.30am start.
