Greater Hume Council has planned its Community Health and Wellbeing Alliance meetings for 2018. The Alliance assists Greater Hume Council to work collaboratively with stakeholder groups to improve the health and wellbeing of Greater Hume council residents.

Health and community service organisations, social support and self-help groups, community volunteers, welfare services, service clubs, emergency services, children’s services and interested residents are all welcome to attend.
The schedule for 2018 is outlined below:
- Wednesday 14th March 9.30am to 11.30am Culcairn Memorial Hall (Topic: Health and Community Services in Greater Hume)
- Tuesday 22nd May, Henty (Topics: Community Transport and Disability Inclusion focus)
- Wednesday 24th October, Holbrook (Topic: Mental Health)
Greater Hume Council Mayor, Cr Heather Wilton said “the Alliance meetings provide a valuable forum for health and wellbeing stakeholders to network, inform each other of their role and services, problem solve together, and plan for future collaborative efforts in the shire”.
“I encourage organisations, groups and individuals to note these meeting dates in their diaries, and we look forward to seeing you at this year’s meetings” added Cr Wilton.
