EMILY Jones, Miss Henty Showgirl 2018, has been successful in The Land Rural Showgirl Competition and has been selected as a finalist at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. She will compete for the NSW title against about 50 other showgirls over the four-day period. Emily attended selection trials at Hay with parents Ken and Brenda and a contingent of Henty Show officials, Warren, Deanne and Stephen Dale, and Ed and Kay Dale. Emily has assisted Brenda for a number of years setting up one section of the show’s pavilion entries. Emily was selected by the Henty Show committee as she epitomises all the values that make her an excellent representative of Henty’s youth. Emily is employed by Greater Hume Council at Henty’s library.
