HENTY’S main street is starting to show its potential. The sidewalk on the northern side of the street is looking nice and clean and is nearing completion. Verandas have yet to be erected. The process of the creation of the sidewalk is well-in-hand on the southern side as well. Seats have been installed and entrances to shops are in the process of being altered or modified as required.

HENTY Men’s Shed members are shocked at the sudden passing of a regular attendee, Glenn Leske. Glenn, only a recent member, was usually first into the shed and getting the urn filled and water boiling in readiness for a morning tea. His company will be missed.

KEN Dale is preparing for a special event on January 25. Ken will become a Deacon of St Barnabas Church in Henty.

LAST week Kendra Walker, Elsa Meyer and Saige Fraser participated in the 2700-strong choir at Schools Spectacular, held at Sydney Olympic Park. They were representing Henty Public School.

HENTY Public School’s “Henty’s Got Talent” heats one and two and the finals have been finalised. The grand final is on Wednesday, November 29 after the volunteers’ morning tea at 12.15pm.

THE Show Society committee are back in the saddle and working towards another February show. Preparation of events, showing of animals and displays are being planned. Hopefully the weather will be more moderate this year.

SEEMS there has been vandalism occurring in Henty of late with public and personal property being damaged. Police are informed.
