OSBORNE coach Matt Rava is confident the Cats can do some damage in the finals despite finishing in sixth position.
The Walbundrie specialists have beaten Saturday’s opponent Jindera during the season and pushed fellow finalists Howlong, CDHBU and Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock to the brink.
“I think we have shown that we can push the top teams,” Rava said.
“It’s about four quarters.
“If we do that, I think we will be thereabouts.
“We are getting towards one of the strongest squads for the year and hopefully we will give a good account of ourselves against Jindera.”
Rava admitted it was hard to take much out of Osborne’s clashes with the Bulldogs this season.
“In round one we were lucky to get the win on a dry track with Jindera having a lot of scoring shots and then we played in the mud at Jindera which was hard to take a lot out of,” he said.
“We will be the underdog but we’ll take some confidence into the game.”
