After lunch, bowls started and luckily beat the rain. Thanks to Laurie Carter who was our cook and the ladies for a great meal.
Everyone enjoyed Patsy’s desert.
The men’s pairs club championship final was played last Saturday with Keith Bender and Steve Johnstone playing Max Montgomery and Barry Love.
After a close game most of the day Montgomery and Love finished on top after scoring a five and a four in the last four ends to win 25-14. Keith Bender was in great form.
The triples draw is out and will start this weekend.
Due to winter, Jackpot Bowls will start at 1.30pm. Please have your names in by 1pm. The jackpot is creeping up – well worth a game.
Bowlers also travelled to Urana on Sunday for the Bernie Hemphill Bowls Day, winning one game and losing one.
