Lockhart residents to celebrate independance
After dodging a forced merger, the Lockhart Shire Council and community will get together to celebrate.
The council are putting on a barbecue to say thank you to all the residents who put in submissions to keep the council independent.
The barbecue will be held on Sunday May 29 at Walter Day Park in Lockhart starting at 12pm.
