Eight ladies played last Thursday, three only played nine holes.
It was a stableford event and of course the winner was Sandy Newton with 46 points. Well done Sandy but if you keep it up you will have to be "swabbed" for burning the course up two weeks in a row!
NTP on the 13th was Sandy Newton and NTP on the 7th was Linda Coombes.
The Newsagency Award went to Ellen Pratt because it’s a long while since Ellen has walked the 18 holes.
Out on the course Marilyn Broughan didn't hit "molly" this week but Marilyn was playing with Marlene Skeers and Marlene didn't like Marilyn's advice on which clubs to hit with. So, Marlene hit the next drive off the toe of the club and the ball just missed Marilyn!
The birthday girl Heather Beattie just couldn't play golf this week and her drives just went to pieces but her party was good.
Next week in a stroke round and the time is still 9am for a 9.30am hit off.
