Steve Bowen of Bowen’s Entertainment was presented with an honorary membership of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) by the association’s Lyn Jacobsen. 

“There are very few of these certificates given out and we appreciate all that he does for us,” Mrs Jacobsen said. 

“He’s a popular DJ in Henty and announces at the deb balls and Henty show,” she said. 

The award, which was presented at the Henty Machinery Field Days, was signed by CWA state president Annette Turner. 

“Steve has been a wonderful advocate for CWA while working with us in the Country Lifestyle Pavilion over many years,” Mrs Jacobsen said.

“He is always ready to give us a hand wherever it is needed and for this we are extremely grateful.”
