17 Jun 09 | St Patrick’s school community at Holbrook can reclaim their hall after the Australian Government granted $850,000 for new classrooms, equipment, and an outdoor learning area. “We are all excited about the new buildings and equipment,” St Patrick’s School Principal Rob Unsworth said last week.

Morundah, population 20 is the smallest village in Urana Shire, one of five villages just off the Newell Highway. Urgent action was needed when the picnic races, Morundah’s main fund raising event was in decline.

TRYC SET FOR HUME IN 2010
24 Jun 09 | The AFL NSW/ACT has once again ignored the wishes of the Hume league to be left alone as is, by recommending The Rock Yerong Creek be admitted to the Hume for the 2010 season. This was despite Hume league delegates voting unanimously 14 - 0 last year to oppose the inclusion of TRYC in to the Hume league for 2010 season.
