LADIES: Only four ladies played golf last Thursday. The winner of the Medal of Medals was Heather Beattie with a 73 nett, closely followed by Alison Campbell with a 74 nett.

NTP second shot on the 15th Alison Campbell. The Newsagency Award went to Ellen Pratt.
Marlene Skeers had the best nett for the day with 67nett. Marlene had a 49 off the stick for the back nine.
Out on the course the play of the day had to go to Alison Campbell on the 16th hole. Alison was just off the green for two shots and missed an eagle by a whisker but came away with a birdie. Then on the next hole Alison's drive hit a tree and landed on the 16th fairway, then hit another tree coming back and then next is history.
Jane Yates and Ellen Pratt played in the Thurgoona Tournament on Monday. Linda Coombes and Jane Yates played at Ganmain on Wednesday then Jane and Linda went to Jindera on Thursday.
Good luck to Ellen Pratt and Alison Campbell next week at Riverina at Finely. Next week is a stroke round.
MEN: Ten players played a stableford round at Henty on Saturday. It pays to go on holidays and have a break as Neil Parker blitzed the field with 46. Ball comp winners were Peter Bourke 42 and Colin Barrett with 36 on a three-way countback from Peter Skeers and Stuart Davidson. Nearest pins were Colin Barrett 11th and Kobie Skeers 13th who out drove John Ross most of the day. Peter Skeers and Stuart Davidson also played the final of the Match Play with Stuart the winner on the 19th. Next week is a stroke round for the Golf Club trophy.
