Findiesel has only missed the placings once in her last 10 starts, when she finished last at Bulli, and lines up in a Ladbrokes Wagga To Temora heat (525m).
Despite drawing box four, Talbot is hoping Findiesel’s early speed from the boxes will hold her in good stead.
“I think she will go good,” Talbot said.
“We’ve been very lucky lately and it doesn’t seem to matter where she draws she’s been able to find the front.
“She seems to be getting stronger over the 500 metres so we are going to keep her there for a while.”
Talbot also has Tuscan Flex in the first of the two heats and hopes he can perform better after drawing box one.
While he rates Findiesel his best chance on the night, Talbot expects last start winner Stealthy Queen to put in another strong effort.
