Henty started well to lead narrowly at quarter time before the Magpies took control in the second stanza courtesy of a seven goal quarter.

Howlong looked set for one of the season’s biggest upsets when they led premiership favourites Brock Burrum Saints at half-time.
With Azzi Medallist Peter Hancock in great touch and Dion Munkara sizzling up forward Howlong led by ten points at the long break.
The Saints, who lost Coach Luke Brauer in the first five minutes with an Achilles complaint, regained control with its lethal midfield warming to the task.
Nick Brockley increased his lead on the goal kickers list with six goals, but could have been more with five behinds as well.
