The Aspley woman, who has not been named, said she bought the winning ticket as a birthday gift for herself after having a "strange feeling" that she would win.
"The funny thing is too, I almost lost it! I had to pull over on the way home from the shops because I thought I had left it there," the August 22 jackpot winner said.

"After that, I put it in my glovebox, and I completely forgot about it until this morning," she said.
She said she had heard rumours about a mystery winner in the area and was prompted to check the ticket after returning from her morning run.
"I'm scared to breathe in case this isn't real. We're in complete shock," she said.
The jackpot has made the Queensland woman the state's biggest lottery winner. She has won the third-largest jackpot in Australian history.
"We don't even know what's next. We've worked so hard our whole lives for everything we've had, and we really don't live a lavish lifestyle," she said.
"We'd like to do some travelling. Maybe a family holiday somewhere. We've always wanted to go see New Zealand and Fiji.
"It's so weird. I can't even say it out loud right now."
'Luckiest store in Australia'
It's not the first winning ticket bought from the woman's local newsagency.
Nextra Chermside Newsagency owner Shannon Hickey said more than $164 million in division one prizes had been won from tickets sold at his store.

"About a decade ago we sold a $40 million Oz Lotto prize and, at the time, that was the third biggest win in Australia," he said.
"Now, this $100 million Powerball prize is the third-biggest win in Australia and the biggest in Queensland.
"It's just fantastic and means we are the luckiest store in Australia."
