A father has showcased his unwavering resolve by refusing to let anything, not even a venomous red-bellied black snake, come between him and his beer.

Footage released by AusCamper captured the encounter, showing the dad's calm composure as he stands firm, beer in hand, while the venomous snake glided past him at a distance of no more than a metre.

"Don't move dad, don't move. It'll just slither past you," his son said as the snake crossed the campsite.
