Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula is renowned for many things - from laidback coastal villages to world-class wines. Now, it can add another feather to its cap. One of the region's best known wineries, Bellarine Estate, has just launched 20 glamping tents, giving visitors from near and far an excellent opportunity to switch off, relax and rejuvenate among the vines.

Dotted around the 40-hectare property with stunning views of Corio Bay, the waterproof tents are decked out with all creature comforts - bedding, coffee table, fan and esky. And there are plenty of attractions on the property to keep you entertained once you've had your fill of peace and quietude: from the onsite winery doing a fine trade in refreshing chardonnays and sparkling pinot noirs to the estate's newly launched Thirty Acres Distillery, where you can taste some exquisite craft gins. bellarineestate.com.au

My all-time favourite destination is ... New York. You can drop a pin anywhere in Manhattan and start walking in any direction, and the sights and sounds of the city that never stops will begin to stimulate all your senses in an instant.
Next on my bucket list is … Scandinavia - at the peak of summer, when the sun almost never sets.
My top travel tip is … If you’re flying to Sydney from anywhere in the world, pick a window seat far from the wing on the left-hand-side of the aeroplane. If the weather gods and flight path align, you’ll have the most incredible views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House.
