Most Australians are spending one to three hours a day dreaming about their next holiday.
According to new research by the Travel Corporation, 62 per cent of Australians are longing to travel.
No surprises there, but did you know 86 per cent of them are spending one to three hours a day thinking about their next trip, with 35 per cent dreaming about Italy?

So, here's what we have to say: stop dreaming, read our story on Turin and start planning. And if you want to keep your travels local, pay heed to the latest report from Stayz, which says Australians are booking holidays more in advance than ever before.
So if you want to get the best holiday home deals book your Easter break by February 13, winter school holidays by May 14, spring holidays by August 25 and summer break no later than July 23. Chop chop!

My all-time favourite destination is ... New York. You can drop a pin anywhere in Manhattan and start walking in any direction, and the sights and sounds of the city that never stops will begin to stimulate all your senses in an instant.
Next on my bucket list is … Scandinavia - at the peak of summer, when the sun almost never sets.
My top travel tip is … If you’re flying to Sydney from anywhere in the world, pick a window seat far from the wing on the left-hand-side of the aeroplane. If the weather gods and flight path align, you’ll have the most incredible views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House.
