The highlight of the round was a brilliant century from Rand opening bat Dan Lieschke, who hammered 105 against Walbundrie.
Lieschke and Damien Wardius (46), off 32 balls, helped Rand post /209.
In reply, Walbundrie was 1/10 when the rain arrived.
Culcairn was in a good position to upset Culcairn when play was abandoned, with Osborne 4/48 in reply to Culcairn 7/151.
Just three more overs would have constituted a match and a Duckworth Lewis result firmly pointing toward a Lions' victory.
Earlier, Vince Chaffey (76) and Mitchell Way (28) had an opening stand of 73 to set up the Lions' handy total.
The Perryman boys, Joe and Ed, both took three wickets for Osborne. Rory Jenkins claimed 2/22 when Culcairn bowled.
Holbrook and Brock Burrum played out an entertaining encounter at Peer Stead Oval in Holbrook before persistent rain forced play to finish just after 5pm.
The Brookers posted 205, with Tom Heriot (45 no), Corey McCarthy (35) and Robbie Mackinlay (32). Heriot along with 16-year-old Aiden Cox (19) added 49 for the last wicket.
Eddie Ziebarth took 2/15 in a tight spell, while Darcy I'Anson bowled a fast and fiery eight overs with 0/20 on a quick outfield.
In reply, the Saints were motoring along at 0-93 when the ball became saturated and bowlers struggled to stand up. Ziebarth capped off an excellent day with an unbeaten (66).
Walla led by an unbeaten (59) from in-form skipper Tom Simmons and all-rounder Dan McCarthy (32) made 9/147 against Lockhart at Lockhart.
Veteran seam bowler Clint Renner was as miserly as ever, with 1/8 off eight overs, while Connor Widdup took the honours, with 5/39.
Lockhart's innings did not start, which means the drawn result still leaves Walla equal on top of the ladder with Brock Burrum. Lockhart remain outside the top six on run rate.
Henty led by opening pair Shannon Terlich (51) and Greg Schuller (43) posted 6/165 against TRYC at Yerong Creek.
Aiden Ridley took 4/33 in a great spell for TRYC, while Ryan Kirkwood was hard to score off with just 19 runs coming from his eight overs.
When the rain forced players from the field of play, TRYC were 1/8 off four overs.
CAW Hume will resume in the new year of January 9.
