The Lions, chasing the Pigeons' total of 119, looked to be no chance when the top order collapsed to be 5/18 until skipper Rory Jenkins led a fightback.
Jenkins (42 no) and Mitch Way (22) added a valuable stand that was also assisted by some wayward Rand bowling.
The Lions got home for its first win by just three wickets and five overs to spare. Way and Riley Knobel had earlier both taken three wickets.
Holbrook made it two wins in a row, with a convincing eight-wicket win over Lockhart at Lockhart on a slow outfield.
Lockhart batted first, with Brad McMillian (33) and Jackson Weideman (330 the best, while Corey McCarthy continued his good bowling with three wickets.
In reply, Holbrook, led by Hamish Mackinlay (67 no) and Josh Beer (31), slowly wore down the Demons' attack that was best served by Weideman 0/11 off seven overs.
Henty were impressive winners over Walbundrie at Paech Oval in Henty, winning by six wickets with seven overs to spare.
Shannon Terlich continued his stellar form with the bat making (61), while captain Greg Schuller (57) assisted in a century stand.
Earlier, Walbundrie posted 174 but left almost nine overs in the bank. Jacob Miller (45) and Nathan Wardius (34) were the best for Walbundrie.
Brayden Pantling picked up three wickets for Henty, while Terlich completed a good game with two wickets.
Walla stayed on top of the ladder after defeating Osborne at Osborne by nine wickets, with seventeen overs to spare.
A century opening stand between Justin Carter (53 no) and Joel Merkel (48) easily chased down the Ostriches 7/105 that was well below par. Darren Howard top-scored with an unbeaten (34).
All Walla bowlers hit good areas, with the in-form Mark Taylor picking up three wickets. Osborne never recovered after collapsing from 0-27 to be 7-61.
Brock Burrum continues to impress, with this time TRYC being the victim of the Saints' juggernaut at Yerong Creek Sportsground.
The home side was dismissed for 115, with Ryan Kirkwood (36) and Jack Driscoll (32) the only bats to produce. Josh Koschitzke picked up three wickets and the I'Anson brothers two each.
Brock Burrum lost five wickets in the run chase, with Darcy (55) and Trent I'Anson (24 no) getting the Saints home despite Kirkwood taking three wickets.
