Scarlet Maloney, 10, of Table Top, was invited to join the prestigious Royal Ballet School in London for an intensive spring course.
Scarlet's mum Katrine Maloney said the course would run for two weeks during April pending COVID-19 restrictions.
"Scarlet took a class with the Royal Ballet School through Zoom two weeks ago," she said.
"We have just received an email to offer her a place in the spring intensives."
A PROJECTion dance student in Wodonga, Victoria, for three years, Scarlet only began her ballet training during 2017.

Her teacher Tim Podesta said it was a big achievement given the London school was rated as the best in the world.
"For Scarlet it's a big achievement because it's where she wants to complete her training when she's older," he said.
"Depending on the COVID situation, she will also get to experience the teaching there and spend time at the boarding school.
"It's a big step for a young dancer."
Earlier this year Scarlet was invited by the world-famous ballet company Bolshoi Ballet to attend its summer schools in Europe mid-year.
She had planned to join the Bolshoi Ballet Academy classes in Italy and Switzerland over four weeks in June-July.
Unfortunately, she missed that chance due to the escalating coronavirus pandemic.
With restrictions easing in Victoria, PROJECTion Dance will present a Gala Evening of Ballet and Dance at The Cube Wodonga on Saturday, November 28.
Scarlet will be among the students and guests presenting solos from the classical ballet repertoire and contemporary works.
Podesta said it was an exciting development given the challenging year for dance schools.
"We'll be getting all of our young dancers and some guest dancers back on stage for the first time since January," Podesta said.
"It's been a very challenging year but it has been good in the sense that it's reminded the dancers of how much they love to perform."
Bookings are essential for the 7.30pm show.
