Also, the students participated in the National Reconciliation Week class activities last month.
Activities included creating art works, reading about histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and watching clips of associated stories.
Whilst the school was closed, the year 4/5 students at home were required to complete tasks associated with the topic of Museums in Motion.
This study unit focused on the events and people who have shaped Australia since European settlement.
A diorama with be the culmination of the study unit.
GYM OPEN
Henty Community gymnasium has reopened as a result of the relaxation of the Covid-19 restrictions. The weight section has been enlarged, providing a greater and improved floor exercise area.
A small crèche had been added for young children whilst carers or parents exercise. Activities for the crèche will be acquired to keep the children engaged.
