Our meeting was held in the Henty CWA Rooms, with a good attendance of members, and we welcomed two visitors, Coralyn Warren and Kaye Dean.

The Group Council meeting was held and a report was given. The Group has financially helped several people in our region who were affected by the recent bushfires.
The Riverina Group's Project for this year is Sunflower House in Wagga, a place where people with mental health issues are able to go from Monday to Friday. We had a guest speaker who gave a most informative address on this very worthy project.
Marie Solyk, our International Officer gave a report on International Work.
Due to the restrictions now in place because of COVID-19, the Handicraft and Land Cookery Day, which was to be held on March 21, has been cancelled, as has state conference and the Sydney Show, which are all great social "meeting places". The Sydney Show is also one of our major fundraising activities and will be sorely missed.
The cultural day, which was to be held on April 20, has also been put on hold.
The Ag and Environment bus trip this year will be a trip to Whitton Cotton Gin, and surrounds.
We have had two scone and muffin stalls recently, and some cake sales, raising money for the disaster fund and our general funds.
We were thrilled to learn that Henty IGA has given their $469.83 proceeds from their yearly Community Chest Program to us for the Riverina Group Bushfire Appeal. We are very grateful for this money and have assured Dales IGA that it will be put to good use.
Several more thank yous have been received from branches and groups that have received money from our pamper pack funds.
It was decided that with the $50 Gift Voucher which we got from the Henty Show that we would purchase the DVD "Memories of the Australian Drovers", and we can all then watch it at some stage.
