Babies through to primary-school aged children were enthusiastic to the changes to the centre in the eastern Riverina on February 17.
Manager of Community services, Lynnette O'Reilly said it was "looking fantastic."
She explained the transition, and refurbishment had been smooth and the interest and feedback from children and their families during the past week had been encouraging.
Mrs O'Reilly said everyone was really happy with how the centre was looking and the upgrades.
"There are four main areas, and we cater from babies through to (providing) before and after school care," she said.

There are preschool and toddler rooms. With a theme of "nature and nurture" the facility has a bright and welcoming feel. Mrs O'Reilly said there were 60 families who used the centre with 100 children registered.
"The numbers continue to grow and it is really in demand," she said.
Mrs O'Reilly explained that the centre provided a crucial service for families in the region. She said it was the only facility of its type located in Holbrook.
"The community is extremely happy and we provide a service from 6.45am to 5.45pm," she said.
"For people who have businesses and employment (we) offer flexible and good hours."
