CAW resumed on Saturday after the Christmas break.
The Blues are the only team to defeat Rand this year (twice) and the victory has taken it to equal second with Osborne and one game behind Rand who is still on top of the table.
The victory was hard-fought, with the win coming with just three balls remaining and two wickets to spare after Rand posted 9/145.
Brayden Ralston (43) and handy contributions from Will and Bryce Swift led the way for Rand. Todd Hannam 1/11 off eight overs and Ryan Kirkwood three wickets stood out for TRYC.
The home side again led by Hannam (54) and Kirkwood (31) steered the TRYC home despite a few nervous moments late in the innings.
Walla took home the Courage Cup after they comfortably defeated old rivals Walbundrie in a high-scoring match at Walla.
Led by a superb century partnership from Tom Simmons ((78) and Mark Taylor (61 no), the Grasshoppers posted 6/222.
Jacob Miller 2/32 was the best of the Tigers' attack with Andrew Lewis 1/27 economical. Lewis stood up with the bat making (53) in the run chase.
Matt Robertson (48) and Jake Thomas (28 no) helped the Tigers finish with 8/184. Joel Merkel, Jamie McCarthy and Kieran McCarthy all took two wickets for Walla.
Walla has now moved into fourth position and is only one game off second place. Walbundrie is equal on points with Walla in fifth.
Osborne, despite missing Ed and Joe Perryman, proved too good for Holbrook winning by seven wickets with two overs to spare at Osborne.
The Brookers put in a much-improved effort and posted 5/175 with Dylan Fairall (58 no), Corey McCarthy (32) and Robbie Mackinlay (24 no) leading the way.
Darren Howard and Ryan Dean both took two wickets for Osborne after Holbrook had won the toss and batted.
An excellent opening stand from Tom Howard (37) and Sam McCready (31) got Osborne going before three quick wickets put Holbrook in the game.
However, Nick Perryman (57 no) and Damian Kennedy (37 no) made Holbrook pay for dropping a chance each and powered home for an impressive win.
The loss has put an end to the Brookers' faint finals hopes, while Osborne has kept the pressure on Rand in top position.
Henty has reentered the top six with an easy win over Lockhart, the team they replaced in the six, winning by seven wickets at Lockhart.
The home team looked set to post a big score when they were 2/121, before Tom Newton 4/19 and Brayden Pantling 3/28 took over.
Brad McMillian made (41), Jordan Harrington (34) and Chayte Burkinshaw (27), before the 8/30 collapse put them in real trouble.
Henty led by Shannon Terlich (81 no) and Greg Schuller (24) quickly passed the Lockhart total with thirteen overs to spare. Harrington took two wickets for Lockhart.
Henty have a huge clash next week at home to TRYC. A win to the Swampies should see them secure a finals position.
Culcairn showed its pre-Christmas form was pointing towards a win and that's exactly what they did in a high-scoring thriller against Brock Burrum at Brocklesby.
The Lions led by a brilliant (92) from Daniel Rooke and (54) from Jackson Lezius made 8/236 their highest score. Ed Ziebarth took three wickets for Brock Burrum.
The home side made a great fist of the mammoth run chase and when they were dismissed in the final over they were just six runs short.
Keith Tallent top-scored with (82), while Adam I'Anson (42) and Jordan Schilg (27) really pushed the Lions' attack to the limit.
Veteran seamer Dai Jenkins took 1/28 off his eight overs, while Riley Knobel knocked over the bottom order to claim four valuable wickets.
