The Rock Yerong Creek has jumped into second position on the table after proving too strong for Holbrook at Yerong Creek.
Aiden Ridley (97) and Todd Hannam (70) toyed with the Holbrook attack, adding 148 for the third wicket, as the home team made 4/215.
Lewis Bowen (1/21) and Corey McCarthy (0/28) were the best of the Holbrook bowlers in their eight-over spells on the lightning-fast outfield.
Holbrook fought hard in reply, with early wickets and a late collapse stalling the run chase that had them finish 9/178.
Hannam - with 4/27 including three wickets in his final over - was superb.
Meanwhile, Ryan Kirkwood, with 2/16, was dangerous throughout.
Holbrook looked a chance when Hamish Mackinlay (62) and his uncle Robbie (48) added 74 runs before Hannam struck.
Walbundrie has posted the highest score in CAW Hume since its inception last season, making 7/332 against Henty at Paech Oval.
The Tigers were led by Luke Fox with 106, Blake Lieschke with 66 and Mason Collins with 60, as the visitors scored at eight runs an over on the lightning-quick outfield.
Tom Newton, with 3/27, was the best of the Swampies' attack, while brother Nick grabbed two wickets on a tough day for bowlers.
In reply, Henty made a healthy 221 with Daniel Terlich (39), Mark White (26) and Shannon Terlich (26) getting starts. With the win in the bank early, Walbundrie used all 11 bowlers with Diesel Collins taking 4/45 to add further fuel to his star all-rounder status.
Walla and Culcairn continued the high-scoring round of matches with a 400-run plus game going the home side's way at Walla.
Walla, batting first, were piloted by an unbeaten 76 from Joel Merkel, while Tommy Simmons was excellent in his return with 66 as Walla made 4/226.
Norm Barlow was sensational for Culcairn, taking 2/12 off eight overs, as all other bowlers were punished by the home bats. Barlow wrapped up a brilliant all round game by making 67 in the chase, with Brendan Way (26), Mitch Godde (25) and Mitch Way (21).
Culcairn's bold effort finished at 9/195 with Jamie McCarthy (3/30) and Mitch Lauritzen (2/30). Merkel completed a good game by taking four catches.
Rand gave Brocklesby Burrumbuttock a thumping, with the match over in just 31 overs at Burrumbuttock.
The Saints were skittled for just 53, with Trent I'Anson playing a lone hand making with 37 as three players made naught and another three just one. Brayden Ralston took 4/24 and Daniel Lieschke 4/13 as the Pigeons put in a ruthless display that has taken it to top spot and flag favoritism.
Mark Kreutzberger (31 no) and Brayden Lieschke (18 no) got the runs in 13 overs, with Keith Tallent the lone wicket taker for the Saints.
On Sunday, CAW Hume started its rep campaign with a four-wicket win over CAW District in an O'Farrell Cup qualifier at Holbrook. CAW District was bowled out for 131, with Darcy IAnson taking 5/16 off 11 overs. Mark Taylor and Ryan Kirkwood both took two wickets.
