The Pigeons' victory has made them the team to beat as they continue to dominate all comers and look set to challenge for a seventh-straight premiership.
Will Swift top scored with 53, while brother Bryce made 30no to continue his good season. The Pigeons posted 8/181. Mason Collins and Jack Kotzur took two wickets each for Walbundrie, while coach Alex McMaster was the most economical with 1/26.
The home side's run chase looked promising at 2/74 before a massive collapse had them teetering at 8/103. The tail wagged and they finished all out for 166. Will Swift completed a brilliant all-round game taking 5/19 to back up his half century.
Rand remains one game clear on top of the ladder.
Henty kept alive its finals aspirations with a comfortable eight-wicket win over Culcairn at the Culcairn Sportsground.
Batting first, the Lions gave themselves a good chance when they posted 8/169 with Vincent Chaffey batting the entire innings for 83 no. Daniel Terlich (3/28), Chris Spicer (1/28) and Shannon Terlich (1/26) all bowled well for Henty. Cameron Knust was next top score for Culcairn with 28.
The Swampies coasted to victory with Shannon Terlich blasting 79 and Grant Gardiner unbeaten on 51. Knust and Mitch Godde took the only wickets
Lockhart has put a serious dent in Holbrook's finals chances in Cricket Albury Wodonga Hume, after hitting the road and beating the Brookers by 39 runs on Saturday.
In a very low-scoring encounter, both teams struggled to get any momentum going with the bat.
Lockhart made just 112 and Holbrook replied with only 73.
Holbrook's loss leaves it sitting on the wrong end of a 2-5 win/loss ratio.
Lockhart, meanwhile, moved into finals contention with its third win.
Only two Holbrook batters made double figures as they were bundled out in just 26 overs.
Liam Widdup took four wickets for Lockhart.
Holbrook's bowling was excellent, with Corey McCarthy (3/18) the best.
Lockhart's best with the bat were Jarrod Byrnes (32) and Brad McMillian (21).
In other round 7 matches, TRYC consolidated its position in the top three with a hard fought 12-run win over Walla at the Yerong Creek turf wicket.
The locals benefited from being sent into bat and compiled 5-181 off 40 overs.
Jack Driscoll (67) and Oscar Willis (37) were the batsmen doing the damage.
Mark Taylor was the pick of the Walla bowlers taking only one wicket but conceding just 14 runs from his eight-over spell.
The same pair who starred with the bat for TRYC, Driscoll and Willis, did it with he ball as well - taking three wickets each as Walla was bowled out for 159 in the final over.
Chris Hutchison top scored for Walla with 39, but the visitors missing the all-round talents of Tom Simmons fell short in a tight finish.
In a repeat of last season's Hume Football League grand final, Osborne inflicted the same result on Brockelsby Burrumbuttock, winning by a total of five wickets at Osborne.
The Saints, after winning the toss and batting, were rolled for just 59 with Adam I'Anson (15) one of only three batters to reach double figures.
Wickets were shared by the Osborne attack, with Daniel Kennedy Ed and Jo Perryman all taking two wickets.
The visitors were eventually bowled out in a total of 26 overs.
Osborne changed up its batting lineup, and with this lost early wickets to the pace of bowler Keith Tallent (3/14).
However, the class of young Tom Howard (30 no) secured victory for Osborne with 21 overs to spare.
Osborne remains solid in second position.
