Our Christmas Pamper Pack idea for "The Ladies of the Land" has had a pleasing response, with several people donating items, and the Thurgoona Lions Club donating $1000 to help us with this project, so we are now anticipating doing 500 packs.
We have had a Street Stall since (Henty Machinery) Field Days to raise money for these, and have another stall scheduled for 1st of November.
All donations will be gratefully received as this has become a very large project.
We are currently checking out where these packs are needed most and have had some generous offers from people to deliver them to the various regions.
We have set the date to package these Packs up to be Monday, 25th November, starting at 9.30am at St James' Church Hall in Lavington.
We are having our next meeting and Christmas Party at Peard's Café on 29th November, starting at 10.30am, with a Kris Kringle to the value of $10, and something for the Food Hamper for the needy.
