With grey skies and storms threatening, four of the five games were completed with Lockhart v Brock Burrum game washed out midway through the second innings.
Walbundrie put a dent in the finals hopes of The Rock Yerong Creek with a comfortable 82-run win at Yerong Creek. The visitors decided to bat after winning the toss and, after a shaky start, managed to post 162 - bowled out with just over two overs left.
In-form coach Alex McMaster again top-scored with 36. Jack Kotzur, 32, and Michael Oates chipped in with handy contributions.
The home team's bowling was led by Ryan Kirkwood, 3/41, and Oscar Willis, 3/18. TRYC went in without star all-rounder Todd Hannam.
Their reply with the bat disappointing, with the miserly Tigers' attack strangling the top order. Jake Thomas conceded just two runs off six overs. McMaster, 3/7, off six overs and Mason Collins, 3/13, off six, continued the good work of Thomas. Jack Driscoll carried his bat for TRYC finishing with 24.
Holbrook made it two wins in a row, defeating Culcairn by eight wickets with 18 overs to spare at Holbrook Sporting Complex.
The Brookers, despite missing skipper Hamish Mackinlay and opening bowler Jamie McCarthy, proved too strong for their old rivals. Acting captain Corey McCarthy sent Culcairn into bat, replying with 137. Daniel Rooke, 44, and Jack Lezius, 38, top scored.
Polocrosse star Jimmy Grills enjoyed his return to cricket with 4/25, while Tim Walsh was on fire, extinguishing the Lions' lower order to take 4/13. Holbrook openers Daniel McCarthy, 61, and Charlie Harbison, 49, put on a century stand to set up the easy win.
Osborne made it three wins from four matches with a comfortable seven-wicket win over Henty at Osborne Sportsground.
The Swampies, after winning their first two games, have lost two in a row, while Osborne has joined Rand at the top of the table.
Henty batted well to post 5-155.
Grant Gardiner continued his good form with 46 not out, while veteran opener Mark White top-scored with 58.
Ed Perryman took 3/21, while Daniel Kennedy was super impressive taking 1/18 off his eight overs. Gardiner and White added 90 for the second wicket.
Osborne made light work of the run chase, posting the victory with 10 overs remaining and seven wickets in the bank.
Youngest of the Perryman boys Joe stood out with 61, while his opening partner Chad Fuller 64 helped add 132 for the opening stand.
Rand joined Osborne at the ladder leadership with a thumping 90-run win over Walla at Walla to again stamp itself as the team to beat.
The Pigeons, after batting first, were in trouble early at 3/15 and 6/88 before a superb unbeaten century partnership had them finish with 6/198.
Bryce Swift hammered 10 boundaries in his 68, with partner Mark Kreutzberger making 46. Joel Merkle and Tom Simmons both took two wickets each for Walla.
The home side started its run chase in good fashion and, at 1/50, was well in the game before collapsing sensationally to be bowled out for 108.
The last six wickets tumbled for 15 with Nath Kohlhagen 25 and Justin Carter, 20, the only bats to stand up in a poor finish.
The Rand bowling attack showed why it is the best in the competition, with all bowlers applying pressure throughout the encounter.
Lockhart and Brock Burrum did not finish their game due to a heavy storm hitting the Lockhart Sportsground, with Lockhart well placed in its run chase.
Brock Burrum had posted a very handy score of 7-215 with Jordan Schilg dominating with 73 and rising star Keith Tallent 75.
Blake Ryan and Connor Widdup both took 2/42 for Lockhart.
In reply, Lockhart was 1-92 off 16 overs with Jordan Harrington unbeaten on 53 and Brad McMillian 19.
