Mackinlay blasted 102 as he and Corey McCarthy (79) combined for a brilliant 153-run stand that sunk the Swampies.

The Brookers posted a season high 5/254 to set Henty a total it never really threatened, with Lewis Bowen taking 4/28 as the home team was bowled out for 133.

Daniel Terlich top scored with 44, while both Mark White and Shannon Terlich were run out for 28. They never recovered from 4/49.

More than 100 people attended Holbrook's celebrations later in the evening, with James Ross delivering a history of the club.

Elsewhere, Lockhart staged an upset win over Walbundrie in a high-scoring game at Walbundrie, with the visitors prevailing by 47 runs. Chayte Burkinshaw hit 11 boundaries in his 79, with great support from newcomers Jarrod Byrnes (49) and Craig Byrnes (34).

The Demons' score of 8/249 could have been more if not for the excellent bowling of Alex McMaster and Damian Wardius, who both took three wickets.

In reply, Walbundrie started in superb fashion with McMaster (95) and Mason Collins (52) adding 115 for the second wicket to be well placed at 1/136. Once Collins was dismissed, it triggered a huge collapse as the last nine wickets fell for 66 runs. Blake Ryan took three wickets for Lockhart.

The Rock Yerong Creek travelled to Culcairn and came home with a comfortable seven-wicket win to stay in third position after three rounds.

After winning the toss, Culcairn batted its 40 overs to post 8/144.

Jackson Lezius top scored with 61, while Daniel Rooke finished with 30.

Star TRYC all-rounder Todd Hannam bowled superbly, taking 3/11 off eight overs, while Col Hagen put in a fiery spell to take 2/28.

In reply, Hannam again led the way with an unbeaten 58 as he and Oscar Willis (50 no) added 96 for the unbroken fourth wicket.

Ryan Knobel toiled hard without luck in his eight-over spell. Cameron Knust (2/26) was the other standout for the Lions.

Rand made it two wins in a row with a hard-fought, low-scoring win over Osborne at the Rand Sportsground.

The visitors were on the back foot early when they could only muster 102 in their 40 overs. Josh Hosie top scored with 30. Blake Lieschke took 3/10 for Rand.

Rand's run chase was a struggle from the start, and when it lost its sixth wicket at 64, the game was in the balance.

However, the experience of Mark Kreutzberger (33 no) and Brayden Ralston (22 no) got Rand home with just four overs to spare.

Osborne was made to pay for 15 wides and no balls, while Rand bowled just three wides in a disciplined display with the ball.

Despite Jordan Schilg smashing a brilliant 120 off just 91 balls, his Brockelsby Burrumbuttock Saints fell to the in-form Walla at Brocklesby.

Schilg played a lone hand after Walla sent the Saints in, with Joel Merkle taking 4/45 and Alex Paech 3/3 and doing the damage for Walla.

Walla had to work extremely hard in reply, taking until the second-last over to get the runs.

Merkel completed a great game by making an unbeaten 66.

Tom Simmons, with a run a ball 49, added a century stand with Merkel, while Paech also completed a good double with 35.

Justin Everett, with 3/27, was the Saints' best with the ball after opening bowlers Keith Tallent and Trent I'Anson bowled economically early.

Incredibly, after three rounds in this year's CAW Hume competition, no team has won all three matches.

Five sides are level on two wins and a loss in a very even start to the season.
