Competing for a British team has not stopped Australia's stars from shining, breaking a national relay record to help London Roar emerge triumphant in their International Swimming League leg.

The Dolphins stars have helped the Roar take top honours on their debut in the game-changing ISL's third leg at Lewisville, Texas, wracking up 484.5 points over the two-day, short-course meet.
They pipped LA Current (457), Hungarian-based Iron outfit (402) and NY Breakers (278.5) despite being without dominant breaststroke world champion Adam Peaty, who had been training with the England national team.
A highlight of their triumph was Aussies Minna Atherton, Jess Hansen, Emma McKeon and Cate Campbell combining to claim an ISL women's 4x100m medley win for the Roar in three minutes, 47.91 seconds - shattering the 2010 Australian record of 3:48.88.
Remarkably it was one of six victories by Australian swimmers for the Roar outfit at the cashed-up, high profile meet.
Another highlight was Campbell setting the 2019 world No.1 benchmark by winning the 100m freestyle in 51.37, easily eclipsing Swede champion Sarah Sjostrom's 51.66 mark.
World titles silver medallist Atherton also impressed by setting a new US Open record by winning the 100m backstroke in 55.43 seconds - the fourth fastest of all-time.
The 19-year-old was just shy of Emily Seebohm's national record of 55.31 set in 2014.
Remarkably Atherton swept the backstroke events in Texas, claiming the 50m, 100m and 200m finals.
The only event she contested that she didn't win was the women's 4x100 freestyle relay, finishing second.
Olympic champion Kyle Chalmers was another standout, chiming into an all-Australian mixed 4x100m freestyle relay team win before torching the 100m field to claim victory in 46.22.
"It was unbelievable, definitely the best simming competition I have ever experienced," Chalmers said.
"Obviously the Olympics is amazing, but two days of fast racing in front of an awesome crowd ... and to be on the winning team is special.
"We as Aussies don't race enough and the travel is quite tough but to get the opportunity to race the best in the world is a great to see where we are at (ahead of Tokyo Olympics)."
Australia's Elijah Winnington also took out the 400m freestyle for the Roar.
The ISL - which features more than 100 Olympians and 41 Rio gold medals - will next be held at Budapest from October 19-20.
The inaugural, revolutionary ISL - created by Ukraine businessman Konstantin Grigorishin - offers more than $5 million ($A7.2 million) in prizemoney and pits eight teams of more than 20 swimmers over six legs until the end of November to set up a four-team final in Las Vegas from December 20-21.
