The accolades follow on from a run of wins and places achieved by exhibitors from throughout the Riverina and southern NSW.
Schools from this region set the pace last week with the Nugent sisters, of Wagga Christian College achieving success in the paraders competition.
Lockhart Central School exhibits, donated by the Henwood family, were first and third in the domestic steer class.
Billabong High School, and Gundagai High School were also well represented and had success in the steer competition.
The grand champion carcase was exhibited by Salesian College. Meanwhile, one of the most prestigious interbreed and carcase awards in the country, the Borthwick Trophy, was awarded to the Limousin breed.
In other beef carcase competition results, Salesian College was named most successful school or college Exhibitor, taking home the Bott-Burston Trophy, narrowly edging out Yanco Agricultural High School and Wagga Christian College.
RASV chief executive officer, Paul Guerra said the 2019 Royal Melbourne Show beef cattle competition highlighted the quality of the production of beef in Australia.
"The Royal Melbourne Show Beef Cattle competition offers participants the opportunity to benchmark their livestock, receive valuable feedback from some of the industry's most respected judges," he said.
In the Hereford section Urana stud, Tondara showed the supreme exhibit, Tondara Mason P037, which had earlier been awarded grand champion bull.
The same stud also exhibited the grand champion female, Tondara, Tondara Ave Maria 2.
Judge Jasmine Green spoke highly of the supreme exhibit.
"He is a very impressive young calf and he is going to be a really stand out sire," Mrs Green said.
"He had quite a lot of traits that define those beef animals, in terms of plenty of carcase, but plenty of softness.
"He travelled around the ring really well, so he ticked a lot of those functionality boxes we were looking for."
