The Brookers, whose season looked over after starting with just one win from their first six games, have struck excellent form at the right time.
They blew the Giants out of the water with a five-goal-to-nothing first term, with Jake Way and Andrew Dess on fire.
The speed of Holbrook's small brigade has been one of the main catalysts for the side's improved fortunes, with wingers Corey McCarthy and Coby Ross leading the way.
Sam Harris, Matt Sharp and Will Holmes dominated around the clearances, while captain Josh Jones impressed in his return from injury.
Outgoing Giants coach Myles Aalbers booted four goals.
The Giants' best chance of getting back into the game was squandered in a wayward second term.
Rand Walbundrie Walla dominated forward entry with the breeze but kicked 3.8, literally blowing away any chance of pegging Holbrook back. Final quarter goals to Sharp, McCarthy and Andrew Dear sunk any chance the Giants had of snatching a late victory.
Sharp, who has been reappointed as coach for a third term, was delighted post-match with the side's continued improvement.
"Every single player knows their role and they are playing their part when called upon," he said.
"The first quarter was some of our best football we have played, and the last quarter was terrific the way we ran out the match.
The best for the Giants included ruckman Jack Duck, along with Ryan Lavery, Dan Lieschke and backman Tom Plunkett.
The result has set up a mouth-watering clash in next Sunday's first semi-final at Urana Road, Lavington when Holbrook will take on Culcairn.
The old rivals are both in great form.
With a finals win under each of their belts, they are set to clash in an elimination game for the second-straight season.
LIONS HOLD OFF BRAVE CROWS
Culcairn has survived a big effort from Billabong Crows to win the elimination final at Walbundrie on Saturday, the Lions getting home by 10 points.
The Crows, in their inaugural finals appearance, certainly gave their band of supporters plenty to be satisfied with in a brave and bold effort.
Played before a bumper finals crowd that paid more than $20,000 at the gate, the Culcairn side held off the fast-finishing Crows to progress to next Sunday's first semi-final.
For the Lions, the victory came at a huge price with star forward Adam Prior leaving the field late in the first half with an ankle injury.
Prior, who started the game on 99 goals, did not kick a major during his time on the ground, with Crows coach Al Austin doing a superb job.
The big forward missed a shot in the second term from close range before leaving the game and not returning in the second half.
At the other end of the ground, Crows forward Nick Brockley booted five goals while Dane Hallinan kicked three for Culcairn.
The Lions' other attacking option, Denis Peddemont, was kept goalless with Jye Shields forced to spend time forward and adding two goals.
Bronson Schofield was excellent for the Crows, who badly missed small forward Josh Evans who was a late withdrawal before the first bounce.
After kicking the first goal for the game, the Crows were never in front again as the Lions held a constant two-to-three-goal buffer.
Tim Austin provided great support to his brother Al, while Lachlan Kerr and Hayden Wishart gained plenty of possessions throughout the game.
Culcairn was best served by Hallinan, with James Pitson, Caleb Simmons and Ben Gould all playing their part in the grinding win.
The second semi-final to be played this Saturday will be a much anticipated encounter, with Osborne and last year's premier Brock Burrum set to rumble.
The prize for the winner will be automatic entry into this year's grand final, while the loser will face a confident winner from Sunday's first semi.
