The weather may have been very cold but it did not deter members from playing in the Two Person Ambrose tournament, nor did it spoil the scores.

Men's Pairs: Winners were Roger and Tom Russell, with a great score of 67 scratch/59 nett. Runners-up were Brett McMahon and Justin Russell, with 70/62.5.
Mixed Pairs: Winners were Neville Batt and Glenda Hoskin 76/71.25 and runners-up were Leif Kamba and Meralyn Fage 84/73.

Culcairn golfers note that next Sunday, August 18, is the monthly medal, back to the normal time of 11.30am for a noon hit-off.
