Well-known Lockhart solicitor Ian McLeod has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his long service to the community.
Mr McLeod has been a solicitor in the Lockhart community since the 1960s, and has provided support to a a variety of organisations and events, including the Spirit of the Land Festival, Pedalcure4MND, Lockhart Picnic Races and annual Lockhart Show.
He has served on numerous local committees including Lockhart's Woodhaven Aged Care Hostel, Aged Care Association, Rotary, Apex, Hospital and Golf Club.
