Colour Day was a hit with both parents and children with most being covered with that much colour it was hard to tell children apart.
Parents and Teachers Association President Jenna Kent said the day was aimed at having fun for all ages, There was a small fee to enter with proceeds going to purchase some new technology equipment for the Culcairn Public School, some children were able to get sponsorship for the event.
Children and adults were given a light spray of water then had all different colours squirted over them. The powder used was Corn Starch with colors added to help minimize any allergic reactions.
A Sausage Sizzle was offered for lunch then participants gathered in a circle and once again sprayed with water and bombarded with colours.
As this was such a successful day organisers will look at making it an annual event.
