Seven ladies played last Thursday in the second round championships and it was Linda Coombes' day - 74 net and NTP on the 15th. Putting went to Jane Yates with 26. Coffee voucher went to Heather Beattie.

Ellen Pratt and Marilyn Broughan were strolling down the fairway cursing the little ball when Yates started her "war dance" then with the help of a magpie, scared the crow away. The things that happen on the golf course.
The pennant team lost 2-3 to Holbrook and now play Thurgoona. The team is Yates, Sandy Newton, Coombes, Broughan and Pratt.
Next Thursday is the final round of the championships; 9am for a 9.30am hit off.
