Winner Jake Bergman of Wagga set a new course record in the sprint distance event and local competitor Briony Mazzocchi won the women’s section.
Mrs Mazzocchi and husband Michael were also busy helping to organise the event and make it run smoothly.
Apart from the sprint distance event there was also a shorter option called the enticer.
And juniors were catered for too.
Younger children were thrilled to participate in the sub-junior category which saw the local footy oval at The Rock bustling with activity early on Sunday before the main events started.
While the triathlon attracted some of the finest athletes it was also a chance for first-timers to compete too.
Those with interests in footy and netball used the triathlon opportunity as a valuable pre-season activity to gauge their fitness and have some fun.
The event, which also coincided with a cycling race on The Rock-Lockhart Road, drew more than 200 competitors to the town.
