Hundreds of people braved the heat to attend the combined festivities in Walla.
A free breakfast and morning tea was enjoyed by many.
Mr. Victor Kovalenko OAM was the Greater Hume Shire Council Australia Day Ambassador . was a Ukrainian Sailor and Coachand is the Head Coach of the Australian Olympic Sailing Team and gave an interesting speech about his life and the passion of his life Sailing.
Henty Streetscape Party and Jindera 150th Celebrations received joint awards for their respective community events.
Mr John Seidel from Jindera was awarded Citizen of the Year 2019, John is an active community person who believes if you are in a community , the right thing is to be involved and help where ever you can.
