Meanwhile, a popular movie night was held at the Lockhart Swimming pool on Friday with the screening of Home Alone.
The movie night also included a visit from Santa and plenty of entertainment for the children.
Another movie night will be held in the Lockhart Shire at The Rock swimming pool on Thursday, December, 20 with the screening of Red Dog.
The event includes a barbecue and offers great family entertainment. Dinner is from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Cost is $3 each or free for those who have a season pass.
If you are looking to join in some more Christmas carols in the region there will be carols at Jindera at the Jindera Village Green on December, 14 with a barbecue starting at 6.30pm and carols at 7.30pm.
